6.7 Linking RIN messages to audio files

RIN messages enable the linking of the message to the audio files data relating to which is contained in the RIN message even if the files are a work in progress or a recording component for the final delivable.

This is achieved by adding a value to the URI element in the File composite. In addition, the File composite enables the provision of a HashSum of the audio file to ensure the URI reference is accurate. The HashSum can also be used to link a RIN message to an audio file that was previously sent to the receipient of the RIN message.
